Sex Offender Registration

 

Registration hours are the following:

Tuesdays – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM excluding holidays

Wednesdays – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM excluding holidays

Thursdays – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM excluding holidays

Convicted sex offenders who live in Mendocino County can register in person at:

Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office
951 Low Gap Road
Ukiah, CA 95482

Please bring your ID with you and provide us with the date and place of your conviction and the offense for which you were convicted.

Registration takes approximately 45 minutes. At that time you will be fingerprinted and photographed.

If You Move
Once you have registered with us, or re-registered if moving back to Mendocino County, you need to let us know if you move. If you move within the County, you have five days to re-register in person at the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Business Office.

If you move out of Mendocino County, you need to notify us in person. You’ll also need to register in person at the sheriff’s office and/or police station in the jurisdiction where you are moving.
